Defterdar İbrahim Paşa Mosque

Defterdar İbrahim Paşa Mosque is a 17th-century structure positioned on a hilltop above the Bosphorus in Ortaköy. The building features a central dome, a traditional minaret, and early Ottoman architectural characteristics that define its exterior form.

The structure was built in 1661 during the Ottoman Empire's peak period and served the local community in Beşiktaş from its inception. Its construction reflected the empire's architectural growth during that era.
