T3

T3 is a suspended steel roller coaster at Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville featuring five inversions and reaching heights of about 101 feet. The ride spans roughly 2,171 feet of track with hanging cars that create a floating sensation as riders move through the course.

The coaster opened in 1995 as T2 and was the first Suspended Looping Coaster built in North America, manufactured by Dutch company Vekoma. This pioneer installation helped establish the park as a destination for thrill seekers.

Roller coaster enthusiasts from around the country visit Kentucky Kingdom specifically to experience this suspended looping steel coaster.

The ride operates with two trains of seven cars each, handling crowds of riders throughout the day. Plan for wait times during peak hours and wear comfortable shoes as you navigate the park on foot.

In 2015, the original trains were replaced with new models from Dutch manufacturer KumbaK to significantly improve passenger comfort. This modernization gave the classic coaster renewed appeal while preserving its original structure and character.
