Johnny Unitas Stadium

Johnny Unitas Stadium is a sports facility on the Towson University campus that features an artificial playing surface and tiered seating areas. A large field house provides indoor space for athletic programs and competitions throughout the year.

The facility opened in 1978 as Towson Stadium and served the university's athletic programs for more than two decades. Major renovations in the early 2000s significantly expanded capacity and updated its systems and structures.

The Baltimore Bayhawks professional lacrosse team selected this venue as their home field from 2004 to 2006, marking its significance in regional sports.

Multiple entrances are positioned at the top of the seating bowl, making it easy to access the viewing areas. Various food vendors throughout the grounds serve drinks and snacks during events.

The third floor Minnegan Room accommodates 200 people and provides direct views of athletic events taking place on the playing field below.
