Old Probst Church, Lutheran church in Brandywine, West Virginia, US
The rectangular frame church features clapboard siding on a cut stone foundation, reflecting traditional 19th-century architectural elements.
Built around 1887, Old Probst Church replaced a log structure from 1769 and remained active until 1920 before transforming into a community center.
The church stands as a representation of Lutheran religious practices in Pendleton County, documented in the National Register of Historic Places.
Located on County Route 21/9 near Brandywine, the church property encompasses 1.5 acres of land at coordinates 38°35′53″N 79°15′25″W.
The second log church building was removed from the site in 1885 and repurposed first as a residence and subsequently as a barn.
