H.L. Stevens & Company designed and constructed this Second Renaissance Revival style residential building between 1924 and 1925 in Erie County.
The building stands as an architectural representation of 1920s residential development patterns within the Elmwood Historic District-East of Buffalo.
Located at 33 Gates Circle in Buffalo, the structure includes a two-story former carriage house and maintains its original architectural elements.
The property underwent a transformation from apartments to condominiums in 1977 before receiving National Register recognition in May 2007.
