Parke Apartments

Parke Apartments is a ten-story residential building with a T-shaped layout, cream-colored brick facade, and light stone accents on its exterior. The structure also includes a two-story former carriage house and keeps its original architectural features intact.

H.L. Stevens & Company designed and built the structure between 1924 and 1925 in the Second Renaissance Revival style. The property was converted from apartments to condominiums in 1977.

The building shows how well-to-do residents lived in Buffalo during the 1920s through its distinctive shape and facade design in the Elmwood Historic District. The architecture tells the story of residential life in that era.

The building is located at 33 Gates Circle in Buffalo and is easy to spot because of its distinctive T-shaped outline. Keep in mind that this is a residential property with private units, so public access is limited to viewing the exterior.
