Robertsville State Park, State park in Franklin County, United States.
Robertsville State Park is a state park in Franklin County covering about 1,225 acres along the Meramec River. The grounds feature hardwood forests, river bottomlands, natural bluffs, hiking trails, boat launches, camping areas, and picnic facilities throughout the property.
Edward James Roberts first settled this land in 1831 at age 14 and built a large farming operation with crops and livestock. The property later transformed from private farmland into a public recreational area.
The park grew from farmland into a place where people recreate outdoors, showing how Missouri has worked to keep natural spaces open to everyone. Visitors come to experience the forest and river in their daily lives.
The park provides boat launches, camping spots, picnic areas, and marked hiking trails suited for different skill levels. Weather and river conditions change with the seasons, so plan your visit accordingly and dress for outdoor conditions.
Where the Meramec River meets Calvey Creek, the park has multiple water access points that draw anglers and bird watchers to observe seasonal migrations and fish populations. This convergence creates natural diversity that changes throughout the year.
