Triune Masonic Temple, Neoclassical masonic temple in Merriam Park, Saint Paul, US.
The Triune Masonic Temple is a neoclassical building with four Doric columns, pediment-topped windows, and decorative cornices forming a symmetrical exterior. The interior combines functional assembly spaces with carefully crafted architectural details throughout.
Built in 1910 from designs by Henry C. Struchen, a lodge member and contractor, this was one of the first buildings constructed specifically for a single Masonic Lodge. Its design marked a new approach to how such temples were built.
The lodge room displays columns representing different architectural styles, with original cherry and maple wood that defines the interior spaces.
The building houses the Saint Paul Lodge Number Three and hosts private events and public functions. Check ahead of time since access depends on current activities and scheduled events.
This building stands as the last surviving historic Masonic temple across both the Saint Paul and Minneapolis metro areas combined. This rarity makes it an important architectural survivor from that tradition in the region.
