Mount Zion Temple

Mount Zion Temple is a synagogue located on Summit Avenue, featuring a design that merges Jewish architectural traditions with modernist structural approaches. The building displays clean lines and carefully composed forms that shape how visitors experience the interior spaces.

Eight German-Jewish families founded the Mount Zion Hebrew Association in 1856, establishing the first Jewish congregation in Minnesota. The current building was completed in 1954, marking a major expansion of the community's presence in the city.
