Local shepherds traditionally use the surrounding pastures for their flocks, maintaining centuries-old agricultural practices in the high mountain environment.
The summit is accessible through a 14.3-kilometer hiking trail starting from Chalets de Chailloux, with an elevation gain of 1491 meters over approximately 5 hours.
The mountain path includes sections with fixed chains and metal handrails, allowing hikers to navigate particularly exposed segments of the rocky terrain.
