Aiguillette du Brévent

Aiguillette du Brévent is a rocky summit in the French Alps reaching 2310 meters, distinguished by exposed limestone walls and steep rocky slopes visible throughout the Chamonix region. The terrain consists of technical passages over rock and stone, creating a challenging climbing experience in a high alpine setting.

This peak became a recognized landmark for mountaineers during the early 1800s as tourism developed in the Chamonix valley. Since then, it has held an important place in the mountain culture of this French Alpine region.

Local shepherds traditionally use the surrounding pastures for their flocks, maintaining centuries-old agricultural practices in the high mountain environment.
