Parc animalier de Merlet is a wildlife park located near Les Houches at roughly 1,500 meters (4,920 feet) elevation in the Chamonix valley. The grounds contain several alpine species including ibex, chamois, llamas, and marmots.

The animals here have spacious outdoor enclosures where they behave naturally rather than confined to small cages. Visitors can watch them follow their daily routines in the mountain forests and meadows.
