Le Brévent

Le Brévent is a mountain summit at 2,525 meters (8,284 feet) in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc featuring climbing walls and ski slopes. A cable car system connects the peak to the valley below, passing through the intermediate station at Plan Praz.

Cable car infrastructure developed at Brévent in the late 20th century made this natural peak accessible to a wider audience. This transformation turned the location from a destination for experienced mountaineers into a popular hub for various mountain sports.

The summit serves as a meeting place for mountaineers, paragliders, and winter sports enthusiasts throughout the year. Different groups gather here to practice their sports and share experiences on the mountain.
