VMRDA Health Arena

VMRDA Health Arena is a sports and fitness complex located at the base of Kailasagiri hill with jogging routes, gyms, and courts for different sports. The facility provides both indoor equipment and outdoor spaces where visitors can exercise, walk, or cycle throughout the grounds.

The complex was founded as the first dedicated health park in Andhra Pradesh, marking a turning point in the region's approach to fitness infrastructure. Its development by the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority helped make organized sports facilities accessible to the general public.

The facility integrates traditional Indian wellness practices with modern fitness approaches through dedicated spaces for yoga sessions and physical training programs.

The facility opens early in the morning and closes in the evening, providing ample space for jogging, walking, and training throughout the day. Visitors should bring comfortable exercise clothing and water, especially when visiting during hot weather.

The complex combines urban park features with sports infrastructure, offering both indoor stadiums and outdoor recreational spaces at the foot of Kailasagiri hill.
