The structure represents the development of education in Eastern Ukraine, reflecting the implementation of German-style schooling methods during the late Imperial period.

Located at Pokrovskaya Street 34 in Izium, the building now functions as a department of the central city hospital, providing medical services.

During the 2022 Russian invasion, the building endured significant damage but remains standing as a testament to the architectural heritage of Izium.
