Moseley’s on the Charles, Historic ballroom in Dedham, Massachusetts, US

Built along the Charles River, this architectural structure features a spacious ballroom with large windows overlooking the waterfront and surrounding natural landscape.

Founded in 1905 by Elisha Moseley, the establishment began as a combined summer canoe house and ballroom, operating continuously until its closure in 2022.

The venue hosted performances by numerous musical legends including Duke Ellington's Washingtonians, Harry James, Les Brown, and Buddy Rich throughout its operational years.

The building maintained its original architectural elements while adapting to modern entertainment needs, with facilities capable of accommodating large gatherings and performances.

Each December, the building served as the meeting place for The Society in Dedham for Apprehending Horse Thieves, maintaining this tradition until its final years.
