Gyeonghwa Station Cherry Blossom Road, Cherry blossom covered rail path in Jinhae district, South Korea
Over 400 meters of cherry blossom trees line both sides of the former railway tracks at Gyeonghwa Station, forming a natural tunnel in spring.
The station served as a central military logistics point during the Korean War before transforming into a spring destination in the 1960s.
Each April, the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival brings thousands of visitors to experience Korean traditions and spring celebrations around the cherry blossoms.
The site remains open 24 hours daily at 649 Jinhae-daero, with a dedicated parking area and information center providing guidance to visitors.
Trains no longer stop at this station, allowing pedestrians to walk safely along the tracks beneath a canopy of pink and white flowers.

These botanical paths feature beech trees, cherry blossoms, bamboo, maple and oak trees. The branches form natural vaults over roads, paths and railway lines. Some were deliberately planted, others developed over decades. The tunnels provide shade in summer and change their appearance with the seasons.
