Mil cascadas

Mil cascadas is a waterfall system featuring multiple tiers of cascading waters that flow through limestone formations along the Granados River. The site includes numerous natural pools at varying levels, each formed by the water's movement through the rocky terrain.

The waterfall system has shaped the region's geography since pre-Hispanic times, serving as a vital water source for indigenous peoples in Guerrero. Its presence influenced settlement patterns and daily life for communities that inhabited this area for centuries.
