The Parliament House opened in 1986 after 11 years of construction, designed by American architect Edward Durell Stone to serve Pakistan's federal legislature.
The building includes a mosque that accommodates 450 people and features trees planted by international dignitaries who visited Pakistan since its inauguration.
Seven committee rooms within the Parliament House contain interpretation systems, enabling multilingual communication during legislative sessions.
The structure houses two primary chambers equipped with electronic voting systems, alongside offices for 30 federal ministers and parliamentary leaders.
