3-2-1 Qatar Olympic & Sports Museum, Olympic sports museum at Khalifa International Stadium, Doha, Qatar
The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum is a large sports museum next to Khalifa International Stadium featuring seven galleries with exhibits and interactive areas. The collection ranges from modern sporting events to historical objects from different cultures.
The museum displays artifacts from different periods, including a reconstructed Roman racing chariot and training equipment from pahlevani, an ancient Iranian sport. These objects show how organized competition has been part of human culture since ancient times.
The Athletes Hall celebrates competitors from many sports and nations, including Paralympic athletes whose equipment like racing wheelchairs are on display. Visitors can see how sport connects people across borders and abilities.
Visitors receive wristbands to record their performance at 18 different training stations throughout the space. These interactive stations are spread across the Activation Zone and provide hands-on experiences alongside viewing exhibits.
The museum building has a spiral structure reflecting the Olympic rings and glows in multiple colors at night. This architectural feature is particularly striking when viewed after dark.
