Mandala Society, Restaurant and café with rooftop terrace in Marrakesh, Morocco.
Mandala Society is a restaurant and café spread across three levels with a rooftop terrace overlooking mountains in Marrakesh's medina. The kitchen focuses on plant-based dishes made from locally sourced ingredients.
The place came into being when two people from opposite parts of the world met and decided to build a community space together. They brought perspectives shaped by their different cultural backgrounds to create this project in the medina.
The place weaves together cooking styles from different regions while honoring local ingredients and craftsmanship. You notice how traditional Moroccan flavors meet cooking approaches from other parts of the world throughout the menu.
The place is open five days a week with seating in an air-conditioned area and on the terrace. Credit cards are accepted, and staff can help guide you through the menu, especially if you have dietary preferences.
The place operates completely without plastic packaging in its day-to-day work. This commitment shapes how the experience feels there and shows that you can practice sustainability while eating without giving up on quality.
