Popinjays sits on the 26th floor of The Murray hotel and features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Hong Kong's skyline and green spaces. The space includes a wrap-around outdoor terrace of about 420 square meters and a climate-controlled dining room that stays comfortable year-round.
The restaurant opened as part of The Murray's transformation from a former government building into a hotel. This new use brought a dining and gathering place to central Hong Kong.
The restaurant blends European cooking styles with local dining preferences, offering different menus throughout the day. The dining space reflects this mix and draws guests who appreciate modern cuisine in an elevated setting.
Spend time on the outdoor terrace to enjoy the views when weather permits, as the open air enhances the experience. If conditions are less favorable, the enclosed dining room offers the same views from inside.
The space reveals Hong Kong's skyline from different angles: from the tall buildings of Central District to the forested slopes of The Peak. These shifting perspectives make each seating area offer a slightly different view.
