Element Kuala Lumpur
Element Kuala Lumpur is a hotel housed in Ilham Tower on floors 41 through 53, featuring 252 rooms that range from studios to three-bedroom suites. Each room is designed with practical comfort in mind, including Heavenly Beds, kitchenettes, modern furnishings, and large windows that frame views of landmarks like the Petronas Twin Towers and Menara KL.
The hotel was designed by Foster+Partners, the same design firm behind the Bank of China building in Hong Kong, and it became the first Element hotel of its kind in Southeast Asia focused on sustainability. Its opening marked a turning point in regional hospitality by combining environmental practices with contemporary design.
Element Kuala Lumpur stands out in the city skyline and reflects Malaysia's commitment to environmental responsibility. The artworks on display, such as the "Ombak" mosaic by local artist Yusof Ghani near the pool and the light installation "Life: Resilient" in the lobby, bring local artistic perspectives into the hotel spaces.
The hotel stands about 275 meters tall and is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping centers, and Ampang Park LRT station, making it easy to explore the city. Visitors should note that the lobby is located on the 40th floor and is reached by elevator from street level.
A special feature is the view of fireworks from the rooms on New Year's Eve, which makes the experience memorable for those staying during celebrations. This rare opportunity draws many visitors who want to watch the festivities from the high-rise vantage point.
