Petronas Tower 3

Petronas Tower 3 is a 58-story office building that reaches 452 meters high and stands as a major part of Kuala Lumpur's downtown landscape. Its glass and steel exterior catches and reflects sunlight throughout the day, and the structure connects directly to the Suria KLCC shopping center and underground parking below.

The tower was completed in 2011 as the final addition to the Petronas complex, designed by American architect César Pelli. This period marked an expansion of the business district and contributed to reshaping downtown Kuala Lumpur.

The building integrates geometric patterns and traditional design elements rooted in Malaysian and Islamic architecture throughout its structure. These details appear in the facade and interior spaces, where cultural references blend quietly into the contemporary design.

The building has 28 elevators that move people efficiently through the office floors and keep wait times short. Direct access to the adjoining shopping center and underground parking makes it convenient to get around and explore the surrounding area.

The building's foundation goes down about 120 meters and uses reinforced concrete to stay stable against different weather conditions. This deep foundation is needed because of the challenging ground conditions in Kuala Lumpur that must support such a tall structure.
