Menara ExxonMobil, Office skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Malaysia
Menara ExxonMobil is a commercial office tower in Kuala Lumpur City Centre standing 126 meters tall with 30 floors of workspace. The building features stepped setbacks on its north and south facades, with additional design changes at higher levels that break up its profile.
The building was completed in 1997 as the first finished project in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre development area. It arrived before the more famous Petronas Twin Towers and helped establish the modern business district.
The tower sits as part of the KLCC complex and faces green spaces that soften the edge between the business district and nature. Its design shows how tall buildings can coexist with parks and open areas.
The building is equipped with 16 elevators and provides office floors with modern work facilities. You can view and photograph the structure from the adjacent park during daylight hours, which offers good angles of the facade and design.
The tower stands out for its prominent stepped setbacks at higher floors, particularly at levels 22 and 26, creating an unusual jagged profile against the sky. This design feature is most noticeable when viewed from the adjacent park.
