KH Tower, Office tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
KH Tower is a 36-floor office building on Jalan Sultan Ismail in the business district of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The structure has a glass exterior and rises to around 152 meters (about 500 feet).
The building was completed in 1984 and was the tallest structure in Malaysia at that time. It was only the second building in the country to pass the 150-meter mark.
The KH Tower sits on Jalan Sultan Ismail, one of the main commercial streets in Kuala Lumpur, and its glass exterior remains a visible part of the city's business district today. The building set a visual tone for the area that other commercial towers in the neighborhood would later follow.
The building sits on a main road in central Kuala Lumpur and is easy to reach by public transport. Access is primarily for tenants and business visitors, so it is worth planning ahead before going.
The rooftop of the building originally had a helipad, which was later converted into a dining space with a view over the city. This change shows how a functional feature of the building was repurposed rather than simply removed.
