Fairmont Kuala Lumpur Towers, Mixed-use skyscraper construction in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Malaysia.
Fairmont Kuala Lumpur Towers is a high-rise development under construction in the center of Kuala Lumpur, next to the Petronas complex. The project consists of two towers of different heights sitting above a ground-level podium designed for retail and dining.
Work on the project started in 2014 and then stopped in 2018 before resuming in 2024. Since then, crews have focused on finishing the basement levels and the ground floor sections of the structure.
The towers are rising next to the Petronas complex, one of the most recognized landmarks in the city. Walking past the site gives a clear sense of how the KLCC district keeps adding layers of office, hotel, and retail space over time.
The site sits in central Kuala Lumpur and is easy to reach by metro, with several stations nearby. Because construction is still active, access for visitors is limited, so it is worth checking the current situation before going.
The retail podium planned for the base of the towers is meant to be larger than the nearby Suria KLCC mall, which is already one of the busiest shopping spots in the city. This would make the completed complex one of the biggest retail destinations in the KLCC district.
