Bukit Nanas

Bukit Nanas is a protected forest reserve in central Kuala Lumpur, located at the base of the city's iconic tower. The area features multiple walking trails that wind through layers of tropical vegetation and forest habitat.

The reserve got its name in the 1860s when military forces planted pineapples around a fortification during a regional conflict. This historical connection to the city's early days has made the site an important surviving green space from that era.
