Menara Multi Purpose, Grade A office skyscraper in midtown Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Menara Multi Purpose is a Grade A office skyscraper on Jalan Munshi Abdullah in midtown Kuala Lumpur, completed in 1994. John Portman & Associates and Jurubena Bertiga International designed it as the first piece of the larger Capital Square commercial development. It houses the headquarters of Multi-Purpose Holdings Berhad, Naturally Plus (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, CBRE-WTW Sdn Bhd and Huaren Resources Sdn Bhd.

Menara Multi Purpose was developed by Bandar Raya Developments Berhad and completed in 1994, designed by John Portman & Associates with Jurubena Bertiga International. It was planned as part of the larger Capital Square commercial development, but the 1997 Asian financial crisis stalled the other components, leaving this tower as the only finished structure amid abandoned shells. CapSquare has since been completed around it.

Menara Multi Purpose is the anchor of CapSquare, the neighbourhood that grew around it after the 1997 Asian financial crisis stalled the original Capital Square plan. The tower's name comes from its main tenant, Multi-Purpose Holdings Berhad, whose headquarters occupy the building. Visitors can see the completed tower standing beside the later office, retail and residential blocks of the integrated district.

The tower stands on Jalan Munshi Abdullah, a street with a major bus hub; lines 300, 200 and 100 start there for Ampang Jaya, Gombak and Kuala Selangor. Bandaraya, Masjid Jamek and Dang Wangi metro stations and Bank Negara Komuter station are within walking distance.

In December 2016 Malaysia's second-largest pension fund, KWAP, bought the tower for RM474.3 million (US$107.25 million), the country's largest office building sale that year. Its developer BRDB later moved its headquarters to Menara BRDB in Bangsar.
