Tower M, Skyscraper construction project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Tower M is a skyscraper development in Kuala Lumpur consisting of three office towers rising above a retail base, located on approximately four acres near Persiaran KLCC MRT station. The main tower is planned to reach 700 meters tall with 145 floors.
The project was initiated by KLCC Property Holdings, the developer behind the Petronas Twin Towers, following the revised KLCC Development Master Plan in 2012. Samsung C&T Corporation assumed responsibility for executing the first construction phase.
The structure incorporates neo-futuristic architectural elements with a cantilever design, reflecting Malaysia's advancement in modern construction technologies.
Foundation work extends to depths of 130 to 150 meters underground to provide a stable base for the towers. Visitors should note that the site is an active construction area with restricted access and safety protocols in place.
The first construction phase includes a six-story retail podium with a dedicated gallery space reserved for Petronas. This retail component aims to expand the shopping and cultural offerings in the surrounding KLCC district.
