Changsha Ecological Zoo, Ecological zoo and park in Muyun, Changsha, China.
The facility extends across 100 hectares featuring walking zones, driving areas, educational sections, and ecological landscapes for over 5,000 animals of 300 species.
The institution began in 1934 at Tianxin Park with 20 animals, relocated to Martyrs Park in 1958, and moved to its current location in 2010.
The zoo functions as the primary science education center for middle and primary students in Hunan Province, offering regular elephant training demonstrations.
Visitors can reach the facility via bus lines 125 and 201, with operation hours from 9:00 to 15:30 on weekdays and 8:30 to 16:00 on weekends.
The zoo holds exclusive authorization from State Forestry Administration and Agricultural Ministry to maintain first and second class wild animals in Hunan Province.
