Former Residence of Huang Xing, Major Historical Site in Huangxing, China
The Former Residence of Huang Xing encompasses 4,300 square meters with twelve rooms, including traditional living quarters, storage areas, and functional spaces.
Built in 1862 during the Qing Dynasty, this residence served as the home of Huang Xing from 1874 to 1893 before being sold to fund revolutionary activities.
The residence reflects traditional folk house architecture of the Qing period and contains exhibits about Chinese revolutionary movements of the early 20th century.
Located at the Former Residence of Huang Xing Bus Stop on route 220, this memorial site opens daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Mondays.
The property features original spaces like the Milling Room, Grain Storehouse, and Reception Room, which were distributed among seven peasants after 1949.
