Animal City, Zoo in Dair Tammish, Lebanon
Animal City extends across 26,000 square meters in the Naher el Kalb Valley, featuring exhibits of more than 50 different animal species in natural settings.
In 2008, Animal City emerged as one of eight operational zoos in Lebanon, marking the establishment of the first public animal exhibition in the region.
The facility organizes educational programs that teach Lebanese children about wildlife conservation, environmental protection, and responsible animal care practices.
Visitors can access the zoo every day between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM during winter months, with extended hours until 7:00 PM throughout summer.
The zoo maintains designated areas for snake photo sessions with non-venomous pythons and provides children with opportunities to groom and ride ponies.
