Marcel Dhénin Educational Farm, Educational farm and petting zoo in Lille, France
The Marcel Dhénin Educational Farm maintains a collection of domestic animals including chickens, sheep, ducks, rabbits, goats, cows, and geese in dedicated enclosures.
Established in 1981 near the Euralille district, this educational farm has provided urban residents with opportunities to connect with rural life for over four decades.
The farm preserves regional livestock breeds at risk of extinction while maintaining traditional agricultural practices through demonstrations and educational programs.
Visitors can access the farm Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and weekends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with free admission for all.
The facility includes an educational garden where visitors learn ecological gardening methods and discover local plant varieties in the orchard throughout the seasons.
