Abd El Wahab Restaurant, Restaurant in Souk Al Bahar, Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Abd El Wahab Restaurant is a Lebanese dining spot on the third floor of a stone-clad shopping arcade near the Dubai Fountain. Inside, the main room opens toward a wide terrace, so diners sit between warm wooden tables and a view of the water show after dark. Light-colored walls, dark woodwork and rows of cushioned chairs give the place a composed, comfortable feel.
The restaurant grew out of a well-known Lebanese dining house before opening in Dubai within a modern development near Burj Khalifa. Over the years, this Souk Al Bahar location became one of the brand’s most recognized branches.
The menu reflects everyday Lebanese eating habits, from cold mezze served in small bowls to grilled skewers brought straight from the fire. Sharing several plates is the normal rhythm here, with bread on the table and conversation moving slowly.
The entrance is easiest to reach from the Souk Al Bahar side, and the terrace is what most visitors ask for when they arrive. Once seated, you can stay through the late evening because the kitchen keeps serving until midnight.
From the terrace, the sound of the fountain arrives a few seconds after the water bursts, so the show feels strangely detached. The menu also lists six fried sparrows with pomegranate molasses as its most celebrated hot starter, a dish many first-time visitors hesitate to order.
