Red's Ice House

Red's Ice House is a waterfront restaurant along Shem Creek offering views across the water toward boat traffic and shorelines. The space features an outdoor deck with dining tables, serves fresh seafood, and displays remnants of its original industrial fishing facility design.

The building started in 1957 as a fishing dock for shrimp processing by Red Simmons and supported local fishing operations until the late 1990s. It was then transformed into a public dining establishment.
