Frau Hedis Tanzkaffee, Party boat in Hamburg, Germany
Frau Hedis Tanzkaffee is a fleet of boats operating as floating bars on the Elbe River, featuring DJs and live bands during cruises. Each vessel has an interior bar, outdoor decks for dancing, and drinks are available throughout the journey.
This concept began in 2003 as a simple idea and grew into the current fleet of multiple named vessels. Growing popularity transformed it from a single boat into an established entertainment concept for Hamburg.
This floating bar is a known venue for live music performances featuring local Hamburg artists and bands. Visitors experience performances of different musical styles while cruising along the water.
Boats depart hourly from St. Pauli Landing Bridges, giving visitors time to dance and enjoy drinks during the cruise. Bringing your own beverages is not permitted, but the onboard bar offers a good selection.
Beyond dance events and concerts, the boats host special evenings including readings, game nights, and outdoor cinema on the river. This rotating program means each cruise offers a different experience.
