Frau Hedis Tanzkaffee, Party boat in Hamburg, Germany
The Frau Hedis Tanzkaffee operates as a fleet of boats cruising through Hamburg harbor while functioning as floating bars with DJs and live bands.
Since 2003, this boat concept has transformed from a simple idea into several vessels named after women, including Claudia, Laura, Irma, Heike, and Ursula.
The vessel hosts music performances by German artists, including Superpunk, Bernd Begemann, Stefan Gwildis, and serves as a floating stage for Hamburg clubs like Molotow.
The boat departs hourly from St. Pauli Landing Bridges, offering drinks at the onboard bar, with outside beverages not permitted during the journey.
The floating establishment transforms into different venues throughout the week, hosting music events, reading sessions, game nights, and outdoor cinema screenings on the Elbe River.
