Description
Chomoni Beach is a white sand beach on the eastern coast of Grande Comore, bordered by coconut trees and dotted with dark volcanic rocks. The shoreline extends gently into the water and is framed by the surrounding palms and natural features.

The coast became a landing point from the 15th century for Arab traders who established maritime routes across the Indian Ocean. These early contacts shaped how the region was settled and developed.
