Old Town Bar

The fortified settlement was established in the 6th century under Byzantine rule and expanded through Venetian influence during the 15th century.

Local craftsmen maintain workshops within the stone buildings, producing traditional metalwork, textiles, and woodwork using methods passed through generations.

Visitors can explore the district through guided walking tours departing from the main square between April and October at 10:00 and 14:00.

The fortress walls incorporate stones from different historical periods, including Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman architectural elements in their structure.
