Il Gabbiano

Il Gabbiano is a sand beach along the Mediterranean coast in Stintino with fine white sand bordered by granite formations. The shoreline is fringed with typical Mediterranean plants and provides several access points from the main road.

Settlement in this area began in the late 1800s when fishing families established the first communities in Stintino and created paths to the shore. These early residents shaped how the beach is used today.

The beach offers umbrella and lounger rentals along with parking areas and multiple access routes. Arriving early is recommended, especially during peak season, to secure a good spot.

During summer evenings, flamingos gather in nearby salt pans and can be spotted from the beach. This rare wildlife display makes the location special for those interested in observing birds and nature.
