Platja de ses Salines

The beach extends for 4.7 kilometers along the coast with a width of 41 meters, featuring white sand and natural dunes with pine trees.

The beach lies within Ses Salines Natural Park, established in 2001 to protect the coastal wetlands and marine ecosystems of Formentera and Ibiza.

Local residents maintain traditional fishing practices near the shore while protecting the Posidonia seagrass meadows that were declared World Heritage.

Visitors can access the beach via the PM-820 road, with parking facilities for 50 vehicles and regular bus service from the main towns.

The shallow waters create different shades of blue due to the preserved Posidonia seagrass beds that filter and oxygenate the Mediterranean waters.
