Mahogany Beach

Mahogany Beach is a sandy shore in Dixon Cove with light sand and direct access to clear water that invites marine life observation. The waterfront stretches roughly 500 meters with several zones offering different settings.

The area was developed in 2009 through a major investment by a cruise company and has since grown into a popular destination. This expansion brought new facilities and changed the character of what was once a small cove.

The place reflects the island's fishing traditions that continue through people who work there today and pass down their techniques. The names of local spots tell stories rooted in this maritime heritage.

The shore is reached either by a chairlift system or a walking path, with both routes running along the terrain. Beach equipment like chairs, umbrellas, and water sports gear can be rented on site for your visit.

A natural rock formation offshore creates an enclosed bathing area that is ideal for snorkeling and underwater photography. This natural barrier protects the zone from stronger waves and keeps the water unusually calm.
