Mijoba

Mijoba is a restaurant in the Vauban district of Marseille with modern interiors of waxed concrete, wooden tables, and rattan chairs. A small outdoor area and a wine cellar in the courtyard complete the dining space.

Chef David Mijoba opened this establishment in 2023 after working in well-known Marseille restaurants including Copperbay, CAM, and Le Café des Épices. This earlier experience shapes the kitchen approach there today.

The restaurant is open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner Thursday through Saturday with a set menu each evening. It helps to plan ahead, especially on weekends, and consider the courtyard as additional seating in good weather.

The wine list focuses on selections from Savoie and the Jura, available by the glass, while the drink options also include locally brewed beers. This selection reflects a deliberate turn toward local wine culture beyond the typical southern regions.
