La Chèvre d'Or

La Chèvre d'Or is a restaurant and hotel spread across multiple levels within a medieval structure in the village. Terraces overlook the Mediterranean Sea and the French Riviera coastline below.

The establishment opened as a restaurant in 1953 and later expanded to include hotel rooms. It joined the prestigious Relais & Châteaux association in the decades that followed.

The kitchen is run by Chef Tom Meyer, whose dishes draw on Mediterranean ingredients found in the region. The meals tell stories of French Riviera heritage and local food traditions.

The restaurant operates from April through October and requires formal dress plus advance reservations for dining and rooms. Being located in the village means narrow lanes and cobblestones, so comfortable walking shoes are helpful.

The property contains four separate dining spaces positioned at different heights within the medieval village. Each dining area offers a different view and dining experience depending on the elevation.
