Spaworld Hotel & Resort is a spa and hotel complex featuring multiple thermal baths, accommodations, and wellness facilities across two zones representing European and Asian bathing traditions. The facility offers different baths with varying water temperatures and mineral compositions designed for different health benefits.

The facility opened in 1999 as one of the first integrated spa resorts in Japan, blending traditional onsen with international bathing techniques. This combination made Spaworld a pioneering force in merging wellness traditions from East and West.

The bathing zones display design elements from different cultures, including Roman baths, Finnish saunas, and Japanese open-air hot springs. Visitors can see how these distinct bathing traditions exist side by side in one place.

The resort operates around the clock with accommodations available on-site. The bathing zones alternate monthly between genders to ensure all guests can access the different thermal baths.

The complex features twelve different bathing areas, one of which is designed like a Greek bath beneath an artificial star-filled ceiling. This unusual combination of architecture and wellness design creates a memorable experience.
