Arkose Prado

Arkose Prado is an indoor climbing gym spanning approximately 1,800 square meters with walls of varying heights and difficulty levels for climbers of all skills. The facility includes equipment rental, training sessions, and changing rooms for visitors.

The building dates from the 1930s and previously operated as an archive center for the French electricity company EDF. It was converted into a climbing gym in 2018, transforming the industrial space for a new purpose.

Local artists display their work throughout the space, with a large mural by Alexandre d'Alessio decorating the climbing walls. This art presence adds character to the climbing experience and reflects the neighborhood's creative spirit.

The gym is located in the 9th district and is accessible by public transport, with nearby parking available for drivers. Visitors should wear comfortable clothing and allow time for registration and safety orientation, especially on first visits.

A restaurant on site holds two Ecotable certifications and features a canal-side terrace where visitors can relax after climbing. The space also includes seminar rooms, making it more than just a training facility.
