Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, Motion simulator ride in Disneyland Park, France
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue is a simulator at Disneyland Park in Chessy that combines motion with three-dimensional projections. The cabin tilts and swivels in response to the digital scene unfolding on a large screen in front of passengers.
The attraction opened in March 2017 as a revised version of the original and integrates scenes from multiple episodes of the Star Wars universe. The replacement allowed the use of newer simulation technology and digital imaging instead of analog projectors.
The Starspeeder carries guests through scenes from different episodes of the film series, with C-3PO serving as pilot and R2-D2 commenting on events from aboard. The cabin responds in sync with the action on screen, so turns and acceleration match the visual effects.
Access to the cabin allows use by wheelchair users, with certain seats designated for guests with limited mobility. Daily operating hours typically run from early morning until evening, depending on the park calendar.
The system selects four segments from a total of twenty-one possible sections on each run, creating more than fifteen hundred different combinations. This random selection ensures that repeated visits can feel different each time.
