The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow

The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow was an indoor interactive show at Disney's Hollywood Studios that combined digital projections with theatrical effects in a cave setting. Guests moved through different scenes featuring pirates, skeleton warriors, mermaids, and the giant sea creature known as the Kraken.

The attraction opened in December 2012 in the building that previously housed Journey into Narnia. It closed in November 2014 to make room for the new entrance to Toy Story Land.

Johnny Depp's portrayal of Jack Sparrow appeared through advanced projection technology, maintaining the character's signature mannerisms and personality.

Each performance lasted about ten minutes and accommodated up to 50 guests at a time. Participation involved shouting, foot stomping, and singing pirate songs throughout the experience.

An animated skull served as the narrator, guiding guests through the entire show. The skull introduced battles and commented on the adventures in a dry pirate voice.
