Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Steel roller coaster in Disney's Hollywood Studios, United States and Walt Disney Studios Park, France.
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is a steel coaster located indoors at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida and at Walt Disney Studios Park in France. The ride accelerates from zero to 57 miles per hour (92 kilometers per hour) in under three seconds and travels through three inversions.
The Florida installation opened at the end of July 1999 and was one of Disney's first coasters to use a launch system. The Paris counterpart followed in mid-March 2002 and closed in September 2019 for a reimagining.
Each vehicle plays different band tracks during the ride, with certain lyrics recorded specifically for this attraction. Every train offers a different musical experience, so the journey can feel distinct with each visit.
Guests must be at least 48 inches (122 centimeters) tall to ride, as the acceleration and inversions can be physically demanding. Each train holds 24 people seated in several rows arranged one behind the other.
The pre-show features band members in a recording studio before guests board vehicles shaped like stretch limousines. The limousine design reinforces the idea of a ride through Los Angeles after a concert.
