Henshin is a rooftop restaurant and bar occupying floors 67 to 69 of the Gama Tower within the Westin Jakarta. The space includes an indoor dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a lounge bar area, and an open terrace overlooking Jakarta's skyline.
The restaurant opened in 2017 and became one of Jakarta's tallest dining destinations. Its location in a luxury hotel tower helped it grow into a major nightlife and dining destination for the city.
The venue offers Nikkei cuisine, a blend of Japanese and Peruvian cooking traditions that emerged from Japanese migration to Peru. You can taste how these two culinary worlds come together on every plate.
Visit in the early evening for a less crowded experience, particularly on weekdays when availability is better. Making a reservation ahead of time is strongly recommended as seating is limited and fills up quickly, especially on weekends.
The venue sits at one of the city's highest elevations and offers views that few other restaurants in Jakarta can match. This exceptional height gives guests a perspective of the city that few dining spots provide.
