Prostějov is a city in the eastern Czech Republic located in the Olomouc Region. The center is dominated by a Renaissance town hall with an 80-meter tower, surrounded by burgher houses spanning different historical periods.
The settlement received town privileges in 1365 and transformed from a small village into an important trading center in the Moravian region. This elevation marked the beginning of its development as a significant commercial hub.
