Kaple svatých Sedmipočetníků a svaté Zdislavy

The chapel is a Roman Catholic house of worship located in the center of Vír village beside the Svratka River. Inside, visitors find a simple arrangement with an altar, ambon, and tabernacle alongside artistic elements that define the sacred space.

The foundation stone was blessed by Pope John Paul II in Prague during 1997, with construction completed the following year. This marked an important moment when the local community gained a dedicated space for worship and gathering.

The chapel displays paintings of Saints Cyril, Methodius, and their companions created by artist Zdirad Jan Křtitel Čech. These artworks connect visitors visually to the early Christian missionaries who shaped the region's spiritual life.

The chapel is situated in a quiet location at the village center and is easy to access on foot. Visitors should be mindful that it functions as an active place of worship for the local community and respectful conduct is expected.
